Young Instrumentalists Prize
Congratulations to the six finalists in the Queensland Symphony Orchestra's 2020 Young Instrumentalist Prize awarded on 14 March.
Open to Queensland secondary school students, finalists included current QYS principal players, Andre Oberleuter and Joshua Jones. Other finalists included Anna Suzuki, who was a finalist in our 2019 National Youth Concerto Competition and Jennifer Lin, a current QYS augmenting player. The winner was Theonie Satzuki Wang, a former member of QYO's Junior String Ensemble.
