The Queensland Youth Symphony had the honour of performing for QYO Patron, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland in a special concert for our patron members and donors, to thank them for their contributions towards the 2017 QYS International Tour.
The concert featured highlights from the 2017 QYS Concert Series, including Samuel Dickenson's (Principal Double Bass) Fanfare Overture, Bruch's Scottish Fantasy featuring soloist Leanne McGowan and Rimsky-Korsakov's Russian Easter Overture, guest conducted by Chen Yang.
The Queensland Youth Symphony departed on Saturday and are currently in Macau, China, the first stop on their tour of China and Germany.
