The Queensland Youth Symphony had the honour of performing for QYO Patron, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland in a special concert for our patron members and donors, to thank them for their contributions towards the 2017 QYS International Tour.

470 members of the Queensland Youth Orchestras performed in a sold out Finale Concert at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre.

Congratulations to 17 year old NSW violinist Yebin Yoo who has been awarded 1st prize in the 42nd National Youth Concerto Competition.

Morning Music at the Old Museum has featured soloists and chamber groups from the Queensland Youth Symphony throughout 2017.

The 2017 Concerts at Twilight series was a huge success with QYO2, QYO3, WS, WE & JSE each presenting three concerts at the Old Museum.
